The Calling (Audible Audio Edition) Rish Outfield No Apologies Productions Books
This story is a lot of fun.I don't reread books very often, but I really like what Rish did with the ending.
Hopefully we'll see a lot more stories from this author, both for this character, and others.

The Calling (Audible Audio Edition) Rish Outfield No Apologies Productions Books Reviews
I heard the first audio draft on the audio fiction magazine podcast dunesteef.com and really enjoyed the piece. The author updated the story, all in all a great revision. Been following this author's work for the past year and have enjoyed his stories immensely. Glad to see this story get out to the wider world!
But outside my comfort zone.
Borrowed from the Lending Library.
I enjoyed the writing and story-telling. I heard the original version over at The Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine, which was very well done. But I also liked how the author expanded the ending here and gave us a further glimpse into protag Josh's future. The story could be interpreted multiple ways, which was fun for me. The author doesn't impose anything on the reader, he simply presents the story and lets us decide what we want "the calling" to mean, who we think the changelings are, etc (is the twin sister lying, telling the truth or is she schizophrenic?). The creepy factor is high and there is some violence, though it's not pervasive. At the end, I was glad to be reading with a light on. Well done, Rish.
Really enjoyed this story. Fiction with religious elements can be predictable and formulaic, but not this one. Rish gives you a different take on the crazy zealots.
Enjoyed the premise and was sorry to see it end. More with these specific characters? Good job, Rish! Keep writing! Candy
This story is a lot of fun.
