A New Adult Romance Story

A new chef arrives on the scene and makes Kiara an offer she can't refuse.

***Due to sexually graphic content and language that some may find offensive, this book is intended for mature readers only***

Life in the Fission kitchen has become difficult for Chef Kiara Sands. While she tries to focus on her work, the rest of the employees pass their time gossiping about her boyfriend, Executive Chef Paul Weston, and the baby he’s expecting with former employee Jenny Foster. Kiara loves Paul, and she’s trying to accept the idea of raising Jenny’s child with him. But Paul isn’t making things easy. His time is consumed with getting ready for the baby, and he’s pushing most of his workload off on Kiara. Instead of an apprentice, Kiara is acting more like manager in the kitchen.

As Kiara and Paul’s relationship is tested, a new threat arrives in the form of celebrity chef James O’Toole. After enjoying a meal at Fission, the charming, world famous chef busts into the kitchen and offers Kiara a job in his classy New York restaurant. As Kiara considers his offer, another temptation arrives. Chase Abbott is a charming Southern football player with dreams of becoming a chef. Kiara feels pulled in three different directions.

Will she follow her dreams and accept James’s offer? Can she do that without ruining her relationship with Paul? Or is the young, carefree Chase the man she’s supposed to be with?

Now we are cooking! This is the second book in the Fifty Recipes for Disaster Series. I really am enjoying this series. I love Kiara. She's a strong successful and talented chef. She's at a point in her life where she needs to deal with the speedbumps in the road. Love the drama with the other chefs and her boss/boyfriend! Recipe for a good read!

Fifty Recipes For Disaster Book 2 edition by Carla Coxwell Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Is the baby real? I saw a comment about Jenny and Robbs still plotting...
This is the second in a series of the trials and tribulations of Klara. She's still cooking and sleeping with Chef Paul but as is typical in a good romance novel, things don't go as she planned. Kiara has some choices to make and some problems to deal with. This romance/cooking novel continues in book 3! I'd love some of the recipes they cook in the book. I guess I will have to get out my cookbook!

You will enjoy this volume I'm sure. It's well written and keeps you interested. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one day!!! Can't wait for book 3!
Just the right amount of suspense and sizzle...I loved the fact I found no typos. I hope Kiara finds her life in New York is all she is wanting. Paul is too selfish, even leaves her unsatisfied. Chase is young but seems more giving and honest. What will happen with James? I can't wait to read the next book...
I really liked this story, but should have started with part 1. I was browsing with no intent to read this but got caught up immediately. If you like romance with a little sex for spice and a look into the workings of the food industry, you will like this one.
I was given this second book in the fifty recipes for disaster series, for my honest review.Story about liars who is a apprentice at fission kitchen ,she is involved with chef Paul, while she is attending culinary school.kiara life is,full of twists and turns.kiara and Paul's plates are full with all t h e drama with Jenny bring pregnant with Paul's baby, but along the way Chase comes along to sidetrack kiara, and also an offer from a well known new York top chef drama comes between Paul, and liars, and she accepts the top chefs offer, since Jenny's baby was actually robbs.I can really relate since my oldest grandchild is in culinary school, sure want to read book 3.very good romance for sure.
This book was just as full of excitement as the first and can't t to read the next because these books have kept me intreagued.
Book 2 of Fifty Recipes for Disaster does not disappoint. Jenny and Robbs are still up to their nasty tricks and Kiara is still in love with chef Paul. However, the romance hits a few bumps along the way. To add to the tension, Kiara must make some choices that will change the course of her life. A great read!
