How much can one person take? Allie just didn't seem to be able to get a break. Every time her life and job were going well, someone was out to sabotage her. Cooper meets her, is so attracted to her (he must have her), that he is instrumental in getting her a job, but then he was also the cause of her losing it. Then he hires her to use her computer expertise to hack into computer programs in order to find out who was trying to ruin his company. Because she was doing this illegally, once they catch the individual, they can't use the info she found while hacking. If these problems weren't enough for Allie to deal with, Cooper is a control freak, and is constantly trying to make her confirm to what he wants. So many times I wanted her to stick by her decisions, and quit letting him in. He was also kind of mysterious and was keeping a secret from her, and when she asked about it he ignored her. He was so strong and controlling, I give her credit for sticking with him. l loved Allie's character and kept rooting for her.Product details

Cooper and Allie have a very complex relationship. Cooper has a lot of issues and Allie is just trying to keep her nose above the water. This series is a great insight into how some men's mind works when they are burying their true feelings and simply trying to get through each day. I love stories with a strong, smart, sexy woman, this series didn't dissappoint. Great Job K.B. Winters!!
While the story is fair, there are many dead spots where Allison is talking to herself or uninteresting sex scenes are being talked about and there are many questions left unanswered about the different plots that occure through the books. Each book is very short and not worth the selling price. If you can't get it free, don't waste your time or money
This was a good read, just enough craziness, even though when you see the silly over thinking a lot of us gals probably do......in print, makes me rethink some things. Enjoyed both story sets. The characters are believable, of course the men are rock hard bodied and handsome; the women have curves and are beautiful so what's not to like? Recommend for those who like a bit of spice in their reading.
I can't recommend this "series." First of all, it's ONE book divided into four plus. If some of the excessive sex scenes were removed, it would be a reasonable-length book. The characters are poorly developed. The plot is non-existent. There was no effort to bring Cooper and Allie together in anything that might be remotely realistic. They just met and started having sex. Unfortunately, there is a lot of potential, but it would require a complete re-writing. I encourage the author to give it a try. That - and the fact that I actually finished it (except for the repetitive sex scenes that I skipped) - is the only reason that I gave it three stars.
I'm a huge KB fan & this one has become one of my faves.. The ups & downs.. Allie is the shiiiit!! I love her attitude & her strength.. As usual.. KB didn't disappoint with her story line!! Excellent read!!
Read it all the way through, keeping an open mind. But was disappointed in the end. I did see a pattern from the beginning that disturbed me between the two characters. It was an entitled and domineering male taking advantage of an innocent younger woman. Every single thing he did hurt her and he refused to admit it. She just drooled and let him do it. The photos happened because he literally forced himself on her, accosting her in a hallway outside the bathroom, getting her fired from her job. The end left loose ends and the relationship should have been splintered with the jerk admitting his manipulations from the very beginning. It is unbelievable that a man could fall madly in love after seeing a woman from afar one time. Didn't make sense.
This series was free at the time I purchased it and to be honest I am happy that it was, I am not sure it I would have paid for the continuations of the book. The books were told main from Allie side however I wished I got to know more about Cooper and his side of the story. Cooper comes off egotistical however the author doesn’t develop his character to where you get to see a true human side to him. There were a lot of questions unanswered. What happened with Cole and his boyfriend at spotlight? Did Paul back always from Allison? Did they ever go to trail?
